Do I Care?

My recently wedded niece rang up early in the morning to whisper in my ears “Happy Birth Day Mamu (Uncle)”. A couple in their honeymoon cared to communicate a loving gesture!

Early in the morning there was another call with a sweet melodious tune “Happy Birth Day to you…” followed by a delighted voice of another niece echoing, Happy Birthday Masa (Uncle). It echoed in my ears making its way straight to my heart. Since last four years she lives a hectic USA life but her care to communicate love and that too creatively turned out as one of the pleasant birthday wishes I have ever received.

Today human life has no option but to rush with the speed of clock. However a life that monitors life speed and cares to communicate love stirs many hearts. A little gesture of love is potential enough to be a memorable milestone for someone. Man lives more by encouragement than by bread as Harvey Mackay says encouragement is oxygen to the soul. In a world of worries, stress and challenges sometimes man require warmth whisper; gentle gesture to move on. And a genuine love holds potentiality to provide positive push to move on.

The question is do I care to communicate love?

  1. This is very very nice, did you write this? It really touches the heart, i dont know how many we can pick in this world who can think in these ways. I really love this. Good one, do send me such ones because at least i am one among the handfuls who still feels this way. Santhi
