On January 30, 1948 when Nathuram Godse fired bullets at point-blank range, who was in his line of fire? Of course Mahatma Gandhi but the ‘Gandhian philosophy’ was the prime subject.
However it’s unfair to condemn Godse alone because following him the emerged authorities, politicians and bootleggers etc too had been at task to vaporize Gandhian philosophy.
In Gujarat (motherland of Mahatma Gandhi) the consumption and sale of liquor is officially banned. But as per July 9, 2009 vernacular report, everyday the bootleggers pays Rs.10 million bribe to the authoritative officials for sales and consumption of liquor in Gujarat. No wonder after the independence there had been 28 moonshines in Gujarat that had claimed 400+ lives. What an irony! Gandhian philosophy under seized at its home ground!
Since Monday (July 6, 2009) to till date, in the fresh phase of moonshine 84 people have died and nearly 170 people are still warded in four hospitals of Ahmedabad, some in critical condition. A perfect picture of law and order being liquor toxicities!
Apart from above-mentioned the 1st decade of 21st century has witnessed innocence blood-spattered episodes, helpless authorities to wracked criminals’ and terror traumatic individuals.
Don’t you think assassinate of 40’s looks inferior in comparison to the following decade’s assassinates?
