The 21st century culture is clockwise cracking culture. Within short span much more fun is its notion.
Commercialization in its tornado speed had hit a long boundary, titled as Indian Premier League (IPL). Billions of Rupees, Corporate and glamor world gambling, colorful cricketers and their bank balances at rise like never before! Its 3 hours game where on every ball crowd cheers up for cracking boundary or a wicket. An ordinary middle class man's stress free mantra in form of thundering boundaries by Yuvi or magical turns by Warne and Murli.
Many cricket fans believe that the original form of cricket “Test Cricket” is the best as it provides the Bowler and the Batsman equal opportunity to prove their talent, sportsmanship and perseverance. Many diehard cricket fans fear that in long run 20-20 cricket format may destroy the original cricket.
I love cricket but my concern for development takes over on entertainment with following reasons…
20-20 is time effective so unlikely to earlier day’s now people can concentrate on their job.
As of now IPL is during the evening hours of vacation resulting in to a family entertainment.
Since it’s organized by India it increases the goodwill of India across the globe.
For Indians cricket have been a subjective issue and therefore in past cases of communal clashes and suicide used to disturb the equilibrium of Indian society and economy. But when Tendulkar and Jaysurya opens the inning to face either Vass or Ishant Sharma than subjectivity will have no option but to transform in to objectivity.
